Child safety standards

Published standards for preventing, detecting, and responding to child sexual abuse and exploitation across Polysignals products.

Purpose and scope

Who this statement applies to and why it exists.

This page publishes Polysignals Inc.’s standards regarding child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). It applies to our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

We maintain this page as a stable, publicly accessible reference for users, families, regulators, and platform partners. The content here is maintained by Polysignals and is not user-editable.

Our commitment

Zero tolerance and child safety as a priority.

We do not tolerate CSAE or CSAM on the Service. Protecting minors and supporting a safe community is a core obligation alongside our other trust and safety goals.

We prohibit any use of the Service to groom, sexualize, endanger, or exploit children, or to solicit, produce, distribute, or facilitate access to CSAM.

Safety standards

Concrete expectations aligned with widely recognized child safety practices.

Our standards are informed by applicable laws and industry guidance for online services that host user-generated content and social features.

  • No sexual content involving minors, including fictional or animated depictions presented in a sexual context.
  • No sharing of links, files, or instructions intended to obtain or distribute CSAM.
  • No grooming, predatory behavior, or attempts to obtain sexual imagery from or contact with minors through the Service.
  • No impersonation of minors for deceptive or harmful purposes.
  • No use of the Service to coordinate harm to children or to evade enforcement.
Prevention and moderation

How we work to reduce risk before and after content appears.

We combine technical safeguards, policy enforcement, and human review where appropriate. Measures may include automated detection signals, user reporting workflows, account restrictions, content removal, and escalation to specialized personnel.

We train relevant staff on handling sensitive reports and on legal and safety obligations. We restrict access to potential CSAM-related material to authorized personnel and lawful processes.

Reporting child safety concerns

How users and others can report issues.

Polysignals allows users to report child safety concerns in the app and on the web experience through the Service’s reporting tools. Please choose the reporting option that best describes the issue and include any details that can help us investigate safely.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

  • In-app / in-product reporting: use the report flow attached to the relevant content, profile, or conversation.
  • Email (child safety and trust & safety): ekram@polysignals.app — include “Child safety” in the subject line and, when possible, links, timestamps, and usernames (do not attach or forward suspected CSAM).
Legal compliance and authorities

Cooperation with law enforcement and designated organizations.

We comply with applicable child safety laws and cooperate with competent regional and national authorities, including lawful requests for information and preservation orders, subject to applicable law and due process.

Where required or appropriate, we report apparent CSAM to designated organizations (for example, the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or analogous bodies in other jurisdictions) in accordance with local law.

Enforcement and appeals

What happens after a report or violation.

Violations of these standards may result in content removal, feature limits, suspension, or permanent termination of accounts. We may preserve relevant records as required for safety and legal compliance.

If you believe action was taken in error, you may contact us at the email below with sufficient detail for us to review your case.

Updates to this page

How we keep this publication current.

We may update these standards to reflect changes in law, risk, or product features. Material updates will be reflected by revising this page and adjusting the “Last updated” date.
